    Dust control

Any suggestions? The track is a combo of rock dust (grade c) and existing topsoil.

where can you typically get this in bulk? I have also heard lime tillings helps to stabilize clay based tracks... we are looking into options for soil stabilization for our pump tracks and 4x track Cottage Grove Bike Park | Cottage Grove Bike Park

I read in a few places that magnesium chloride washes away really quickly for outside tracks but that it works well. Soiltac seems great but is just soooooo expensive.

I found some "green" ice melt at Home Depot that has a high MaCl % that I was going to try on the topsoil section of the track.

I'm going to sprinkle it on and water it just a bit to see if it all firms up or not. In another place I'm just going to spread it with a seeder and see what happens.

I only invested $10, and I can use whatever I don't use if it doesn't work on the driveway in winter. Our first snowfall was today. Boo.

The problem with soil tac is that it is 1. super expensive, 2 it has to be replaced yearly 3 if it does happen to crack on the top you have to peal it off because it is a soil binder we used it at the bmx track back home... it is great but they buy it by the 270 gal drum for like $3500!
