Diggin the white cranks and stem. You may also route the front brake cable through the stem to get it out of the way... if you want to keeping running it of course. All the cool kids ride with no front, but starting out and when riding trails it's good to have for sure.

I kinda wish I worked at a Specialized bike shop. Trek/Fisher doesn't have anything close to the P1. As far as style.

for the extra control/safety and only small weight gain its an obvious choice, unless you wanna just look good and not ride...

If you go down to a 13t cog in the back you can run the rear wheel almost all the way forward in the drop out... FYI

    Great bike, enjoy it.

Does Trek no longer make the "Jack?" I've seen a few people ride them around my area before, but also Cam McCaul rides one in "Seasons" by the Collective.

In 2008 they did and both versions were al-you-mini-um.

There is a picture going around of a trek and people sayings it's a Jack 3.
