    Chain troubles

So I bought a Single speed kit for my Spec. P2. the ratio is 34:16, but since the dropouts for the rear wheel are horizontal there is a limited amount of space I can put the wheel. The chain ended up being too long, but if I break it it will be too short, I was thinking half link? or maybe a 15 instead of 16. I still haven't had a chance to ride it with the new ratio, so I fell stuck. I did consider riding it brakeless, leaving it bare, which makes it look pretty badass, but i would have to miss out on trials

A 1/2 link will make it work. Either a 3/32" or a 1/8" - whichever chain size you have.

He has horizontal drops. No need for a tensioner. I think his issue is that the chain is too long or too short removing a whole link. The 1/2 link will fix it.

A full link moves the wheel half an inch. How small are the dropouts on those frames?
