Buying my first DJ bike, need some advice! :D

Hey guys, I'm going to be buying my first DJ bike and I have been in contact with someone selling theirs used. I was hoping someone could tell me if this is a good deal or not, or if I should try and wait to purchase something else, or if this is not all that great of a DJ bike.

    It's a 2010 Voodoo Shango Freeride Hardtail
Here is the link/url to the bike I am wanting to purchase.

2010 Voodoo Shango Freeride Hardtail - Pinkbike

He's asking $350 plus shipping (Overall $400 give or take)

The frame has a MSRP: $300 new, and idk about everything else. Seems like a legit deal, I just don't wanna drop that much money if it is worth less than $400

    Thanks!
    -Tom

Not really sure on the bike its self as i don't have experience with that brand but the components seem legit, It doesn't list the fork, like the level but it is a marzocchi and i'm not a huge fan of their products marzocchi. That said it would be hard to buy all those components at that price... the frame seems to get good ratings on the internet the geo looks decent, looks to be between an all m hard tail and a DJ bike

Thanks for the input. I decided not to purchase it though, I'm holding out for a better deal and the guy was trying to pressure me into getting it that day haha

I've never heard of a 4x fork by FSA. Could be one, just never heard of it. (Also just Googled it and didn't see one).

Voodoo are a good brand. But, the geo on that is slightly off--it looks long in the back and short in the front. Ugh.

Black Market pretty much set the standard for DJ bikes. Look how much closer the rear wheel is to the seat tube. Not saying every bike has to be like this, but there's a reason it performs well....

his price isn't bad, though. for a complete, that's pretty good.
