    body armor

Just getting into dirt jumping and looking at elbow and knee/shin pads i found theirs such a thing as full body armor. So i'm just curious if any dirt jumpers actually use this or if it would actually help? Being $150 i don't wanna waste my money if its not really needed, plus i still would have to purchase knee/shin guards.

yeah, what hits hard on a crash is usually your knees, elbows, hands, head/face (consider a mouth-gaurd and full face if you are really worried.)

Go for something with a hard shell. I took a 9 foot fall, which blew up my left knee from torque but the right knee hit directly on the concrete. While my pants blew out to my crotch, the right knee was uninjured...the fox pad did it's work.

The left knee was a different story.

Mainly, take it slow and easy.
