    8t one piece driver????/

    i would like to change the gear ratio on my specialized p1. i would like to buy a 8t 1 piece driver. any suggestions?

    I believe the stock hub on the p1 does not use drivers. It is a freehub/cassette body.

    8T? Really? What will you have in the front, a 20T? What size wheels?
    Some hubs will accept a one piece driver, but not many.
    I have a 20" BMX wheel with an 8T, but I've NEVER heard of anyone going that small on an MTB. Even with a 24T in the front, you'd be running 3:1 gearing, which is stupidly high.

    unless your racing your bike down 45 degree angles highways, that kinda gear ratio is rediculous!

    go 25/12. That ratio works well and is easy to find parts for.

    2.2:1 is a good starting point. I like 28/12.

    34/14 here, mmm stiff gear ratio, good thing i have big legs, but an 8T thats just crazy

    28/12 is my new gear ratio of choice. Anything less an ya spin it out to quick.

    went from 28/14 and now im rollin 28/12 gearing. i like it but i need to get stronger.
