Yup, you guessed it...another new 5 Spot

After some questions to this board and a little time searching the internet...I got my Spot!

From the time I made the decision to actually get one, it only took 2 weeks to get all the parts together. I live in Japan, so half of that was waiting for the mail.

    Heres the build...

    '04 5 Spot, Silver, XL
    '03 Fox Vanilla 125's
Hope M4 Brakes (soon with Goodridge lines)
    King Headset
    Thomson Stem and Seat Post
    Salsa Seat Clamp
SRAM X-9 Triggers and R. Der.
SRAM PG-990 Power Glide Cassette and PC-99 Chain
    Shimano XTR Fr. Der.
    Shimano XT Cranks
    Sun Zu Zu pedals
Sun Single Track rims w/ XT hubs
    ODI Intense grips
    Koobi Seat
    IRC Serac tires
    Titec Hellbent Bars

I'm having rear brake issues with the Turner (no rear line), so I haven't been able to take it to the hills yet.
First impression from just riding it around the block is that its really smooth.
I've been riding a Large SC Bullit, so this is definetely bigger. But, it still feels pretty good.

Anyways, here a pic...and if you want to see more then check out this link.
Theres one inthere that really shows off the silver sparkle :-)

    Looks good.

    How tall are you?

And to think there exists a larger size 5-spot

I'm only 6'4", but I come from a BMX/MX background and like my frames on the small size. I'm sure once I start riding it more thanthe Bullit I will quickl get used to it.

The riding over here is decent. We have 5 or 6 local trails with a good mix of everything. If we drive a few hours we have a few DH courses as well.

It looks like you sort of have the BMX brake configuration too... Only One.
Are you still waiting for the brake lines or are you really planning on riding like that?
Faster is better, even when it's not.

Well, I got the Hopes from a friend, "dont worry they're in great condition".
Right, the rear line was hammered and could have used another inch or 2.
So, rather than disrespect the Turner with "crap-looking" hose, I just decided to wait until I got some new ones to put on.
I have some carbon Goodridge lines on the way.

But, I have thought about going BMX style
