    What's it worth?

Not a spam...I'm parting with this to help finance another build. Hard to part with by it's time. I'm giving it to a friend of mine who wants to pay me fair market for it. I've got a $# in mind but I could be off base.

It's an 02, horst link RFX, size small I guess, it's a 15". Figure I give him nothing but frame, Ti-sprung Avy DHS and a seatpost/fr dr.. The spring rate works for the new owner.

The pivots are good, no dents anywhere, no chips in the PC but it's shows a bit of age.
The shock is due for service $75 or so for oil change/gas charge.

Your friend is getting a nice ride, especially with that Avy.

Seems low considering the Ti Avy.

I guess general market value might be considerably less than what it would be worth to the right owner. I may end up running an add here before it's all over though.

I'd probably give a $1000+ for it. If I was looking for a "do all" bike.

    I'd say at least $850.

The Turner trade in value alone is worth $500 and that frame has a lot of life left in it before it ever needs to be traded in so let's say minimum value is $600. Pair that with a shock and spring that retail for $830 new. There are no used avy's on ebay right now so I can't compare exactly but I'd say it's worth at least $250.

Without the avy I would have said $550 as there have been 3 (soon to be 4) newer iterations of the RFX but the avy makes it more interesting and expensive but I reckon $750 tops.

I might do better to sell seperately This 500# spring is pretty common.
