    What year 5 Spot?

I have had my 5 Spot for a few years now and it was a left over of a run of silver anodized frames from the mid 2000's. Just not sure what year. I think its a 2004? Would anyone have any idea what year it maybe?

    Five Spot Year 2004

Looks like an 04 or 05. Why the ICT sticker?

Most people ripped it off. Looks like an 04/05 to me.

ICT stickers came on my 05 Six pack - think that was the 1st year for them...so i'd guess it's an 05??????

Thanks! ICT stickers were on the frame and just never removed them. Trying to decide what to do with the frame now. I use a Specialized SX as my all around bike so the 5 Spot frame sits idle.

    SX vs. Spot

Are you riding the 4x SX? I've ben thinking about getting one of those too. I wonder if the BB is to low for trail riding. Let me know it compares to the spot. Thanks!

BB is low on the SX ( 4X frame ) but I run short cranks (165's ). The SX is very burly frame and I wanted a frame I could hit a jump line on and for trail riding. Here in the Northeast most of the trails are shorter climbs and rather technical. SX is great for that and climbs really well.

Right now the SX is at 28.5LBs range which is fine for me. 5 Spot is the best true trail bike I have had though. SX is more fun for me as most of my rides these days are a mix of jumps and technical trail riding on fun to blast trails.
