What is a two year old 5 spot worth?

I want to make the shift to 29, and need to sell my 5 Spot to do it. It's in perfect condition, 28 pounds with pedals.

Here's the ad: Turner DW 5 Spot Large - Buy and Sell and Review Mountain Bikes and Accessories

But I've had no interest. Am I asking too much? New this thing would be over 5k..

Suggestions guys? And don't worry about hurting my feelings.

Looks like a great bike and a great deal, but if I were in the market for a 5 Spot, I would be looking at 2011+ because of the geometry. Just my $.02

    Good luck with the sale!!!

You can get a brand new 2013 Frame from Blue-sky for $1600. I would say you are looking closer to 1500. That is a 2010 model with the older geometry.

    Well,

I'm only asking $950 for the frame parted out.. I took what all the parts would go for on ebay, and added them up.

By my counts, it's an insane deal.

I did however, lower the price to $2500.

It looks like a clean bike. You have two things going against you.....out dated frame (no Thru Axle rear, taco verses burrito and geometry) and 650B (27.5). It's really a challenge to sell a 26er even though the Spot is a fine frame. Although, the one plus on your side is it's not a 100mm XC frame.

Yeah. Nice bike, but like others have said, it's a tough sell right now.

I ended up parting my 2010 5 Spot out. Never added it all up but I doubt it was more than $1500-1600.

Looks like yours is nicer than mine though. Good luck.

It is a nice deal but unfortunately, the market is bad for new bikes, let alone 4 yr old models. And others have said, the market seems to be dying for all things 26 right now as well...

I sold my 2011 Spot for 900$ here less than 2 weeks ago to give you an idea. 800$ would be your price to sell I bet

First you figure out what you think it's worth. Then cut that price in half. Then field offers for half that. Welcome to the Mean Streets of Used Bike Selling.

I have a sweet 2010 Turner 5 Spot that is collecting dust. Tough deal. I love this bike but am slowly moving to bigger wheels full time.

Welp, with a tear in my eye, it sold for $2300. Nice guy, getting back into riding, saw it, and said it was perfect. It was hard to watch it go..
