    What is a Homer?

I hear this name is linked to Turner owners. Where does it come from?

Nice pic but obviously fake since the brake levers don't match the frame. Xtra points for the jersey but since you actually posted a picture of you riding a Turner, rather than posting a picture of your bike leaning against (insert object du jour here), replete with mass quantities of bling, you can't be a Homer.

    True "homer" story:

Last month I met my bro-in-law at Annadel in Santa Rosa for a week day ride. It was pouring buckets (especially for so early in the season in Norcal) so we thought we would have the trails to ourselves. As we crested the Rough Go climb (both of us on 5Spots w/o stickers) we greeted a couple of riders at a trail junction and rider #2 (apparently riding a Turner) belted out, "Wow, the Homer nation is out today!"

I threw up in my mouth a little bit, choked it back down, and we kept climbing...

...a constant desire to post photos of a cracked frame built with the latest, greatest and most expensive parts available...matching your jersey and socks with the head badge helps too.
