Aluminum are still made in the Pacific North West, now by Zen, on equipment bought from Ellsworth when they quit manufacturing. The carbon Czar is imported.

Portland Oregon. David Woronets was production manager at Ellsworth when they had a factory in southern Washington. When that facility folded a few years ago David and his wife Jen bought the equipment, moved it across the river to Portland, bought a bunch more, and started Zen, we started our relationship with them about 2 years ago and the Burner protos were our first project together 18mos ago.

As a Portland, OR native, this makes my desire for the new Burner burn a bit brighter. No pun intended.

If you view Bike Zen's other posts you will see lots of nice photos and information of the frames being built.
