Caution; Merge; Workers Ahead! Wanted: Romic/Avy TI Spring

Looking for a 500# Ti spring. 2.25 stroke, 1.5 ID about 4.9" free length. These were made by RCS to fit Romics and Avy shocks.
    Anybody got one? PM me.

    Thanks

I've got a 450 lb version of that exact spring that probably will not transfer to my next frame.

    I'm interested.

I didn't know there was a 450# made. What shock was it on?

I've been using it on my Heckler, but I suspect that it will be too light to use on the 6 pack frame I'm now considering since the pack uses a different, higher leverage ratio (see other post on Six pack shock question). The spring has been used for maybe 4 months.

I have a Titanium Spring for my 450# bought for the Romic 2" stroke (on my 5-spot) directly from Romic. Drop me a message if you are interested.

Oh, ops sorry. Although it might work. Romic used to ship the 2.0 stroke with a 2.25 Steel spring and the Titanium is much more widely spaced (it has one less full turn of the coil) ... but ... better safe than sorry!!!

Hey, how much do you want for the spring? If it's for a 2.25" shock, I'd be curious

    Upset Hey Lucky 7

That's my spring I may need to ride an extra day/week to shave off a little weight, but I think a 450# will work.

    No

I decided to hold out and get a 500# spring. Craig's got them on order and should have in a couple of weeks.

I'd email RCS and ask what the weight is.

    I switched from a ti 600lbs to a ti 550 (both 2") and the weight went....UP! 30grams more.

A steel romic 550 vs the 550ti was only 50grams apart. Depending on design (wirethickness and number of coils) a 500 ti might weigh more or the same as a steel spring.

It's the first time I've been gutted for getting more than what I paid for
