Turner touch-up paint
Long story made short.
-New 5 Spot shifts during our somewhat crazy ascent to the shuttle drop.
-Two quarter size patches get rubbed off all the way down to the aluminum (right in the middle of the down tube)....wanted to cry but decided riding would be better for my soul.
-Any luck getting touch up paint? Getting paint to match? Brush or air-brush on.
-The girl just isn't as respectable with her silver fillings showing.
-Hate to put a decal on it but will if painting doesn't work.
What color is your 5spot?
I picked up some 'stop-light red metallic' paint from a hobby store (The color model car builders use for tail lamps). I haven't done any painting yet, but it looks like it'll match.
Nail polish works as well.
I've found a veritable cornucopia of blue "sparkly" and red "sparkly" colors to choose from that match the respective Turner paints. It's worked out quite well.
