Turner Burner 04
I Just Built My Turner That I Purchase At Supergo A Week An A Half Ago, And The Only Thing I See That Could Be Changed Is That Damn Front Dereiller Feed Slot That Rubs On The Frame, Other Then That It Kicks Ass. :d
I bought a turner from wrenchscience.com, i am expecting it april 2nd. what are your build specs? Any surprises? Did you have to face the head tube or bottom bracket. what size front derailler? what is the seatpost diam?
I just built my Burner a few weeks ago
I don't find the front derailleur guide to be an issue.
The seatpost is a 27.2. BB is 73x113. Front Der. is a 34.9 top pull, bottom swing (high clamp)....the 2004 XT is the M961 model. The head tube and bb are perfect and don't need any other work....everything went together beautifully.
It is a beautiful bike and rides really well. I have my first race on it this weekend it should be interesting (Icebreaker). I can't wait push it to the limit!
My Build is:
Large Blue Burner w/Float R propedal shock
Fox Float 100 RL
XT 4 piston disc brakes
FSA Stem/carbon bar/Team carbon cranks/platinum pro BB
Kenda Karma DTC tires
You're gonna love your new bike!
