    Turner 4x Stolen

Turner nerds, I need your help!

My turner slalom bike was stolen Thursday night in Brevard, NC. The frame is very rare and will be easy to spot. Please help me keep an eye out on forums, ebay, etc...

The frame is basically a modified Flux. Its approx a 15 inch frame with custom geometry. This picture is pretty dated. The build when it was stolen was as follows:

    silver/gray fox float 100 mm
green Jbend I9's on 819 rims
    sunline handlebar
old saint rear brake, no front brake
    truvativ cranks
    gamut guide
Specialized purgatory front tire, fast track rear

    Will keep an eye out.

Since a 4X is not real common, send e-mails and faxes to all Western NC bike shops, include things that make your bike specific and the S/N. Also do the same with all local pawn shops. Check your home owner's policy to see if it will cover the replacement cost. Then send emails and faxes again in 6 months, when the thieves come out of hiding.

I just received a letter from my local police department that they are closing the case on mine, previously stolen.

    Good luck!
