Cool-blue Rhythm Turner 06 model rear link change

It seemed that 06 rear link system of 5-Spot, Flux, even Nitros(from proto)... changed.
Former rear axle was on a seat stay but 06 model has axle on chain stay.
So it became faux system from four bar system.
It look almost same but it's quite different system.

Any body who know the reason?
To lower bending stress in seat stay during braking?
Or to have more stiff lateral stiffiness with single pivot?

This is a joke, right? First post?

Tony, did your PR guy leave the computer on again when he left the room? Did you break the agreement with the entire board of directors and start posting again?

Colorado Front Range forum has been interesting lately ... I'm still waiting to find out what PT has done for Boulder area mountain biking. It's like having a "to be continued ..." ending on the season ender of your favorite sitcom. I just can't wait to find out how it turns out.

True; Boulder is afraid that it's endearing and delicate prairie dog population might get stressed out if people were to actually recreate on the public lands that the citizens bought with their tax dollars.

City of Boulder banned riding on any interesting trails on city lands long before they found rodent love. I used to ride there before the original west of town ban by the city council. I'm afraid you'll have to blame politics of the 1980s rather than those cuddly little critters.

I love the heated energy of the Boulder area bike debates. Around here we are still lucky in that we have few conflicts among trail users. Of course, we still have a rather small density of humans and our biggest conflict for mtb riding is a rather short riding season.

True, the recreation that the rodents are interfering with is childrens field sports. The cuddly little balls of B. plague are burrowing into the soccer/baseball fields, Once discovered, said field becomes a "natural habitat", and the kids can't play there anymore. All the while our tax dollars maintain the rodent habitat.
Our good city council is also looking to keep folks out of the precious "open space" that is also paid with by tax dollars. They are looking to eliminate hiking and climbing in some places in the flatirons.

What I'd like to know was the reason(What you think, not turner) why turner changed rear link.
I've read TNT thread full of "Almost same ride with TNT & HL" is not what I want to know.
    IMHO (Just Guess)
    1. Patent (Turner stated.)
    2. To get rid of seatstay bending stress during braking (I've read review that former Nitrous seatstay was bent during Jumping & hard braking)
    3. More lateral stiffiness with single pivot
Because of #2,3 reason, I think new TNT design seems to be more sturdy and reliable in the long term.

Sorry Sun, I guess the translation didn't work. I explained in my reply (in web translated Korean) this was a joke!!!!

We goof around here a bit. No offense taken and none meant!

On the lighter side, the Bablefish translator did a halfway decent job on your Korean. Except the part about the beadspreads... It wasn't too good at translating my reply back into English though.

What I tried to say was something to the effect of (digging from memory)
Howdy Sun and Pluslhs Welcome aboard. I'm replying to you in Korean using a web translator to be a wise guy. This is a joke and I hope the humor does not get lost in the translation. I'm going to pretend to be rude. Hopefully the others will get a giggle out of it.
(then some talk about the HL/TNT change) and a bit about I hope it translated okay.

Oh well if you have to explain a joke it wasn't funny in the first place.
