    Tools To Fear

The last couple of times I've had my screws tightened I always ment to get a pic of the device. I finally remembered this time (today) and I believe it's called a torque screwdriver. It clicks and all. This time the magic number was 2; two additional pounds of force. He (ortho practitioner) made his way round and round the screws in a manner similar to trueing a wheel. I thought I'd never hear (and feel) the blessed 'click' (meaning 2 pounds was reached and done). The two screws in my forehead were so loose that when he loosened the retaining nut he then could turn the screws in with his fingers. Needless to say, I felt sick knowing that the f*cking screws were that loose (and explaining my unusual pain and discomfort). I wanted to get some better pics, but this session was a tough one. Thank God for vicodin. I'll have some good dreams of my new bike tonight...

    Happy weekend riding!

Ouch. Hope your neck heals before those screws make it all the way through!

That's actually a valid major potential problem, but not in my case yet. I guess I have a thick skull.

Any end to the use of these medevil torture devices in sight; hope it is sooooooon? A new ride is a cool thing to look forward too; keep up the spirits.
