    Superstock in MBA?

I was just fingering thru the newest copy of MBA. Toward the back of the mag there is a pic of a guy on a green Turner 5-spot with white Z-1. Looks just like Superstock. Anyone? The article it appears on is titled "Staying Lean without using the D word".

...I seem to remember him saying that he was doing a shoot for them on the board a while back.

Speaking of Turners in Magazines . . .

Did anyone see the Turner in the two page Canon ad in the most recent Bike edition?

Cool! I haven't seen the issue yet but the photographer told me last week that they were using a shot of me on my Spot in an upcoming issue. I had done a couple of 'extra credit' shots on my bike after doing the test shots for the Chumba EVO that appeared in the November issue.

Not only does Kermit get some magazine real estate but so does the HOMER jersey. Don't know if you can tell from the picture.

And yes, I'm off the bike right now. Friggin' motorcycles ...

Yeah, but it's the new version of the Turner Jersey, so It's hard to identify. Heal up bro.

Yeah, this is the one. Its actually a small jump that you hit before going over to a bigger kicker. You need speed for the second jump so you have to hit this one fast but stay low to the ground so you can make a turn and line it up. We started running out of light on this shot trying to get it right.

    Diet? Never.

Thanks for posting up the shot. MBA subscribers get to see the new issues well after the shops do .

Nice move SS, muggin' for the lens real hard.
Such a tight shot it's sorta got a bobble-head effect.

At the motocross track, having fun on an open practice day and was hittin up my third moto. Going over a smallish 2nd gear double, I'm horrified to see that someone had crashed and is lying face down unconscious in the landing! The jump is big enough that you can't see over the face and spot your landing until you are climbing the transition. I soon realize that he is right where I need to land. I hit him with my rear wheel, hit the bars hard and flipped off the bike. I landed on my feet and rolled but that initial impact was pretty hard. Ankles swelled up, went to the doctor and it ends up that I broke BOTH heels and ankles. Not displaced but fractured nonetheless and require casts. So am I couch bound and on the mend for the coming weeks.

Post stoke boys, plenty of it.
