    Sultan Front Derailluer Squeak

I really like my new Sultan, but the squeaking is driving me nuts. By searching here I was able to nail down some of the squeaks - derailleur hanger, re-grease and re-torque the main pivots (that was the big one) and one of the cables...

So now I am down to the last squeak. The rubber bumper on the inside of the XT front derailleur is rubbing against the main pivot in the granny gear (3x10). I cannot seem to set this thing up so that it does not rub. Or if I move it out I get chain rub in the middle and outer rings. dialing in the limit screws does not get me the range i need.

What to do? Try the Sram front derailluer? Nuke it from orbit?

    Thanks in advance.

Ditch the front derailleur? Not helpful, I know. But seriously, poor mans 1x10 is something to think about.

Do you have a spacer on the drive side of the BB?

    Thanks for the responses.

1x10 is not really a possibility, I need the gears.

I have one spacer on the drive side. Chris King BB, Race Face triple. I tried adding a second drive side spacer but that setup did not allow me to tighten the cranks as much as needed.
