That's the way Maggro gets whenever he shows up with a new steed.

"No, really, guys....this is THE bike. I'm gonna keep this one for a long time!"

We've got a "Death Pool" going on the Nomad. I give it 6 months.

Naw Steve, the JT grief was never my thing. If you didn't keep postings pics of you in that skort, I might have forgotten about that one too.
But the Jones and the hummer, I guess they go together okay.
Just givin you grief friend; it would be pretty boring around here if all we did was talk about bikes.

    Renny & Aqua,

It just warms my heart to see you two getting along so nicely. Qualifiying for social security has really mellowed you both quite nicely.

As good as the latest generation mood medications are, I could even give Pabloarticlestrike a big hug and be somewhat sincere about it.

I'm only as old as I feel, which today feels like 63.

Somehow you guys gotta make the hookup; the one with the thong and the other with the skort would make for an interesting "session"

Thong? Who's wearing a thong? I've seen El C's speedo pics, but have yet to see thong pics. Please don't take this as an open invitation to post graphic pics, my eyes can only handle so much in one day.

I'm not going to look at the picture again to determine if it was or wasn't-it was close enough; I'm suprised they haven't hooked up before now-I mean for a ride

FWIW, I rode a friends Nomad down a local section of trail that I've ridden 1000's of times, very high speed rocky stuff, and I was blown away by the stability. I don't think I've EVER ridden that section that fast before. Bike weighs about 32 and feels like it weighs 50 on the downs(re: Glued to the ground in the corners), and the suspension felt amazing.

I am VERY impressed with the Nomad.

I agree with your assessment. Nomad feels great descending. The wheelbase is very long and travel is plush and it really charges hard at speed through rough terrain.

Conversely, I don't like its geometry for climbing at all. Even riding my friend's large, which is one size too large for me, I feel cramped in the cockpit and things just feel all out of whack on steep climbs.

No, you have it mixed up, Turners are 37lbs but pedal like they're 28lbs. Nomads on the other hand are 32lbs and desend like they're 50lbs.

I hear Ellsworths weigh in at about 30lb but pedal like crack....... but you only notice it when you're standing over them.

    Thank you sir.

My 3200lb car drives like it weighs 20lb.
