So what is the best SHOCK 4 the DHR

So I would normally not ask this question, but am open to experience of other DHR owners especially on the 07 - 09 round tube ver but all model DHR experience welcome as the shock lengths were the same, leverage may have been diff not sure.

Anyways I'm not changing the shock for some time unless forced to
in the mean time it will have to do and hopefully not stuffed after last weekends ride.

Still I'm curious after riding the Chumba F5 with a CCDB?

I have been also keen for awhile to try an AVY model which one?

and since the Elka is not yet available what else is there BOS but I doubt anyone has ad experience with that shock and a DHR yet?
    If so share please

The RC4 I don;t think I'm keen the shock doesn't seem to play well and is as polarizing as it gets from what I can tell,

Have I left any out, having a custom tune if when I do look at it is also high on the list, even if CC I want it tuned for me and the bike.

    CCDB?
    BOS?
AVY? if Avalanche would prefer a piggyback ver not remote
    ELKA ?

Fit issues if any to be wary of

Don't mention Manipoo, I wouldn't trust one in this country support wise, AVY CC no issue even this far away have always been good if not great to deal with, Elka have always been quick to respond, though no update yet on the DHR current ver compatibilities.

    all offer this,

But be great to hear what you guys have ridden and experienced.

Remember I'm not changing for the near future at least.

    Cheers

The BOS shock doesn't fit without modification to the linkages. It's pretty awesome once you get it in there though. The Cane Creek or RC4 are probably your best option.

The only Avy that fits is the remote res DHS.
Too many toys, not enough time.

Cheers guys so probably rules out Avy as I don't want a remote res ver!

BOS too OTT probably and I'm not into hacking my bike to make something fit.

I forgot about Sram RS Vivid anyone tried and compared this to CCDB, RC4 and std DHXc?

    Cheers.

Talk to the guys at Go-Ride. Those guys know, ride and sell lots of Turner bikes. They also do custom-valving on some shocks. And they have a shock demo program where you can try various shocks.

Another option is to send your shock to Push.
