Hey Guys,
I am orientating towards a DW-link frame. I come from a long travel hardtail background and mostly home mechanic so that's why like Turners, the DW-link makes them efficient and spirited under sprinting and the built quality and pivot designs makes maintenance easier. A friend of mine had a 5.spot and recently switched to a Burner (medium). He is also always speaking highly of the bikes.
Problem is at 6.15'' I'm between L and XL. To makes matters worse I don't want to size up to an XL with a short stem because with the long chainstays the wheelbase will be a whole size too long for my preference. The shorter reach of the L would force me to use a longer stem than I want.
I know keeping the chainstay a bit longer is a design choice and I also understand if people say, test ride both and you'll like it. Thing is, it's not so easy to get a test ride on a Turner around here and for a bike I need to save money for more than a year I want the sizing to be spot on.
Guess I'm just posting to give feedback. Awesome to see both an xl and a 2xl, but in the end I'm still in doubt about the sizing because of the chainstay length. This makes me look at other options, while in fact I would prefer a Turner.
