    Show me the money!

The "Money Gap". This is a shot of what the line used to look like.....Just a straight forward high speed drop to flat. Super harsh landing....

So Saturday during the rains, we busted out the shovels, added a lip, and threw in a tranny. Behold the "Money Gap".

I knew one of you jokers would pick up on that. I thought it was clever placement by myself.

Hopefully Nakey will post his pics as well.

    Breath

The first pic, someone should tell him to breath. If he is landing heavy he may not be relaxed as a result of holding his breth. One thing that can help is to Wooha as he hits the lip.

We finally got to see Wasea hit the BJ on his El Guapo. For some shyness is their El Guapo, for others, a lack of education, but for Wasea, El Guapo is the Titus El Guapo....

That's a healthy gap right there, looking good. And nice placement on the 29er. More points would've been awarded if the 9er was rigid.

Have you seen the trails out here? There are rocks here, big hairy rocks. I thought about rigid but couldn't do it, mostly because 29er SS already puts me in a category of geekdom that I wasn't sure I wanted to join.

That's the one.. So now it's a big combo move. Hit the hip, and stay off the brakes all the way to the "money". By the time you hit the money, you gotta be doing a solid 20-25 mph. I guinea pigged it a bit too slow, and landed my backtire right on the edge of the tranny. As close as you can come and not case it. The second time was awesome! I felt some serious hang time!

See, now that's what scares me about those big gaps. Hitting the ground at that speed breaks stuff. I'd much rather do a slow speed drop from 5-6 feet straight down. At least you know where you're landing.... even if it is harsh.

Perhaps if I had an iota of smoooveness the gaps wouldn't freak me out so much.
When you hit them right, they do feel soooooo cool though.

I dunno... you sure seem to have adopted it pretty quickly. Isn't that your second big wheeled bike?

All I needed was some alone time with the basejump.

Finally hit it........I hit it last week after I spent time alone working it out, I'm a recluse what can I say.

The only reason I mention it is(well 3 reasons)You mentioned the harsh landing ,I don't see any pics of you after it was built bigger and I have had the same problem at times. That is holding my breath when I'am trying to concentrate or focus intently.Actually I don't hold my breath but forget to breathe.Nice Highline though.
