Can't wait to watch it........when I get home. Viddy is blocked by my IT

All I have to say is www.vimeo.com. Seems to have better quality than Youtube and others too.

Sample viddy someone posted on another mtb site here:

It is, it's not mine though. I grabbed it from another mtb forum. I ride that trail a lot though and that is what I call the "Bobsled Simulator" or "Virtual Bobsled". Next best thing to riding it yourself.

Flats? Then I wouldn't have crashed. I have some flats on my SC Jackal I'm still trying to get use to.

Great video! Really getting me pumped for my trip out in September.
Is that area one trail or a network? Could three idiots from New Hampshire find their way around?

Wow! Holy crap. That bobsled trail looks fun. Where is that?

That footage is one trail, but there are a few other trails that are easily linked up for a long techy epic.

Nice, thanks. We are going to fly into Vegas and make our way up to Fruita riding along the way. I'm still not sure if we are going to be in the St. George area for one or two days. If we are there for two would you suggest this over J.E.M/Hurricane Rim area or Rockville Bench?

Do it. You'll love it. I did two runs yesterday morning. I had only planned on doing one, but it was too much fun. I couldn't be there and not do it again. Awesome trail. I only wish it lasted longer. It's a must do next time you're in SLC.

Good Barrel trail vid. I was going to try to hook up with you guys last weekend when I was there, but I ended up being sick instead. No fun.

I would much rather ride Barrels than JEM, or Rockville, but it all depends on the type of riding you want to do. If you like more XC type riding, then JEM and Rockville are great. If you want some features to play around on, and like high speed tech, and don't mind earning your turns , then Barrels/Zen are your ticket.

I'm going through this weird obsession with the Flying Monkey, it scares me and so naturally I can't let it drop. I've never ridden it or had the chance to yet, but on a recent trip to look at some real estate atop the mesa I got a good look at the hillside and I can't believe that there's a rideable trail down that. My question is did you really hit the FM and KK? If so mad props.

great vid lc. nice wheelie drop at the end. wheelie drops freak me - don't trust my drive train.

that bobsled trail looks like a never ending thrill - i wonder how long it takes to pedal back up to the car

    Great vid, El C

That kind of riding is what I WISH I could do. You all make it look so easy but if it was me in the vid everyone would go away because it would just chronicle me walking a lot of those sections. We all have our skills in the mountain biking world; I just wish I had more of yours!

I attended the 2003 Red Bull Rampage when Cedric won it all and at the time I only rode Grafton, but my riding buddies rode FM before I was able to arrive. Found out how to get to FM and KK line through them. At the time I had a Giant AC and was just getting my freeride bug on, so I don't think I could have managed FM very well then. Fast Forward about a year and 1/2, I had (and still have) a Yeti AS-X determined to hit Ginger at Bootleg, and FM / KK in Zion / Virgin area. Did both fairly successfully. I'm OK at steep, rocky stuff, stepdowns, etc., but doubles or huge gaps I'm a little hesitant.

    Thanks Wasea.

Well Grafton was a success, I nearly punctured a plastic shoulder cup on a razor sharp rock after a stump stumped me, then blew out my 66's rebound, Naked1 got over the bars body slammed, Chris destroyed a hanger and got thrown over the bars, Troy can barely walk, and Clint fell off a small cliff and nearly the BIG cliff right below it! All in all that trail was sick, as in I've never said "Oh shiza," so many times in one ride evah!

Which 661 pads are you guys using? The Straits? Can you ride all day with them? I use race lites, but just want the knee covered. How about EVO? Lot of questions, but looks like you guys put them thru the ringer! Thanks

Yeah, most of us are sporting the Kyle Straights. They're comfortable, don't slip down, and offer decent protection. You can pedal all day in them.
