    Shock for burner

So... The ctd evolution sucks and I'm pretty sure mine sh@t the bed a couple days ago. Been thinking about a ccdbair or even a ccdb with a ti coil if I can find a used one. What are the other options available and does anyone have experience with them?

If funds arent a question.. id say cc inline or ccdb, perhaps BOS.
Not pleased with anything from fox the last years, rockshox has been good to me but CC is more tuneable.

I realize this thread names the Burner in the subject line, but anyone know if the CC-InLine will fit in a 2011 5.Spot frame (large, if it matters). The 2011's don't have the bent down tube at the BB, but not sure it matters for a non-reservoir shock like the InLine. thoughts?

I didn't think the evolution shock could be modified like that. At least push wont venture inside.

Sorry for the thread drift, but what downtube protector are you using running? I need something for my '13 5-spot and the one in your pic seems to fit well.

It (mostly) gets the job done, but is not perfect. I have one on my DHR as well and at some point, I kicked up a rock that had enough force to puncture the guard and dent the frame. Quite a hobby we have chosen for ourselves!

Correct, Avalanche cannot modify the Evolution shock. I had Craig do a DHX air for my Burner and it works great!

Yep. Check the Turner website, they're selling CC-InLine shocks for '09-'12 Spots.

I'm liking my PUSHed Rp23, buy an old one and get it tuned?
