    Sat. Afternoon Ride Pics.........

Went for a decent ride at James River State Park. Some particularly well groomed trails that offer varying types of terrain & trails. A few pics ( I had to compress them slightly to allow for a dial-up-load )

Gosh, its so dry down there. I thought for sure after all the rain we got it would have been a swamp. What was that bone from? Sure looks huge.

............it was 'bone' dry . Not sure what the bone was or where it was from (you know every ride has a story in it somewhere) it was just lying there begging to be photographed...........so I obliged!

However, any excuse to ride a Turner is a good one.

    Nice pics, and great bike.

.....well, I suppose if you're a glutton for punishment. The pics were mostly from the areas surrounding the park. The couple I took of the trails were deceiving because they are mega-steep, but of course you can never tell incline intensity from pics. The trails themselves are shared with horses, so they are pretty choppy. A hardtail would make for a sore evening-after Actually, if the terrain wasn't so steep & rooty I may have taken the SS out!
