    Well according to Renny, having them and using them are two quite different things.

    yea, my panasonic receiver has poppets and needle valves, knobs and slidey things, but it still sounds like a panasonic, it ain't no Macintosh.

    I think they are good but to insist on not using the main piston valving is just silly; IMHO. Unless their marketing dept controls their engineering dept

    True, I have found that the latest Journo info on the Boxxer was also misleading, its not 38mm its 35mm and its still using WC BB air technology

    Yeppers I know plenty of ppl very happy with the shock. Just like anything. As for the piston, yeah IIRC when I went with HIP to CC they were explaining about the super stiff shims on the piston that don't open much. But hey I'm sure they've designed it that way for a good reason, like to prevent disabling the poppets or something. If it works for most That's cool. I just like tweaking Renny.
