    Please date this Burner

Ignoring the parts, especially the awful-non matching tyres and shonky shock, can anyone date this frame?

It belongs to a friend and we can't decide who's is older. I'm guessing his is pre-96. I'm basing that only on the lower shock mount though which I remember seeing on the older models.

For comparison, here's my 1996 model. One piece BB/shock mount and more subtle headtube gussetry...

(Ignore the seatstays with ISO disk mounts on mine - they're not the originals).

    Any insights gratefully received.

    Nick

    Cheers guys.

As for the yellow - every Burner I saw in the UK between 95 and 97 was yellow, bar one.

Cheers (that's my frame), I think I got it about 4th hand 3 years ago.
The shock's some rockshox thingy, Nick

I apologise for the tyres, all the parts on it were just from the pile of stiff I had lying around.
