    Caution; Merge; Workers Ahead! Paging the Homer Nation: New Jersey Poll...

    Ok, thanks to the unprecedented level of whining elicited by the previous poll (and that's saying something around here ), we are now going to explore some new options.

    Below are a series of colors. Note that you can vote for multiple items. PLEASE VOTE FOR TWO COLORS. Not one. Not three. Pick TWO (2).

    DT is open to the idea of a hidden zipper (with the current v-neck) and also a sleeveless version. Please also indicate your preference on the zipper (yes/no) and sleeveless version (yes/no). Let me clarify that a short sleeve jersey will be available no matter how you vote on the sleeveless option. Voting yes for sleeveless just indicates that you would potentially want one, and voting no means you would not want one.

    You will vote a total of 4 times: twice for colors, once on the zipper, and once on the sleeveless. Got all that?

    Commence the beyotching...

    Color #1 Blue

    Color #2 Brick

    Color #3 Charcoal grey

    Color #4 Kelly Green

    Color #5 Medium grey

    Color #6 Olive

    I like that green, but who the hell is Kelley??? And why do they get their name associated with a color, what have they done for the Homer Nation???

    Sorry, I just felt like agitating, been in one of those moods lately. Dog days of winter I guess. I promise, no more Big Gay Al rainbow requests.

    I like the blue the brick and the KG. But I voted blue and brick cause the brick had to be one and just brick and KG were too christmas-y.

    The grey's are winning, what's wrong with you guys??? We'll all look like vampires.

    Um, DT.. I'll take two.

    I like all of them and will just get whatever ends up being offered. They're all low-key which is my preference.

    I hope no one bumps the other thread. Could be confusing since the titles are anagrams.

    I didn't see the option to vote on NJ? Regardless, the answer is no.

    Pockets/No pockets???

    DT doesn't LIKE pockets?

    Seems like there were more comments on the pockets than the sleeveless...?? Or does El C get a special dispensation for not snapping his RFX in two?

    Geeze Cheeze. I though after all of the work you guys put in for the original Homer jersey that you would have run away screaming at the mere mention of doing another one.

    Granted, this one is "just" the design and most of the headaches seem to appear when you have to have the design produced. I don't know why you put yourself through all of this grief, but........

    THANKS. You rock!!!

    OK, are we talking limited run or production here??? I can't even remember my paypay information. Hopefully DT will sell these on his website? I like the simple yet functional design, kinda of like my Spot.

    Is it just me, or is that shade of gray just a little too dark? And the green? Maybe it's my monitor, but it's skewing a little too yellow for me. Could you send me fabric samples of each so that I may log my vote in complete confidence?

    I'm also thinking that pockets on the sides for my iPod would be useful, along with zip-on sleeves. If it's not too much to ask, could we include a zip-on fleece hood/balaclava? For those rides that start in subzero temps but end in desert heat.

    I've also always hated that my butt gets wet when I ride through a puddle. Could you add a flap on the back that can tuck into a stow-away pocket for dry days? Kind of like tails on a tux, but much more technical.

    And really, while we're at it, why not make it reversible?

    Mwahaha, reversible's a good idea!

    Anyways. For me, zipper yeah, sleeveless no, and ideally something with a little colour. Allow me, if you will, to fart about with Photoshop...

    I'm confident enough in the size of my gold, jewel-encrusted medallion that I don't need to show it off by unzipping.

    What??? Pockets are NOT cool? - I thought I WAS one of the cool guys...

    Unlike the rest of you, I have ONE pack and it fits a phone and the garage door opener. When I have to start removing layers/gloves/hats etc, pockets are VERY COOL.

    Dang, I just can't do this mountain biking thing right .

    Do I lose my poser status with pockets?

    sleeveless = no
    zipper = yes
    color = medium grey
    other color = undecided - I like the blue and brick (I like the KG too, but I'll look like Christmas with my red camelbak though). Which soaks up the the least amount of SoCal sun?

    Cool more choices, I voted but not gonna bother saying anything cuz I am definitely in the small minority. (I liked the two-tone a lot) The brick is cool and so is either grey, I will take at least one maybe two depending on the colors chosen.

    I voted for Olive and Brick, but think they all look good. It would be nice to have a sleevless option, I would buy one of each in that instance. Again I think they all look good and I will buy one or more.

    Listen! We Have Spoken!!!!

    The people have spoken! Looks like you can't get away with just one jersey, Dave, you gotta feed the masses - but at least you know that folks would buy 'em! Make zippered (XC) and non zippered (FR) flavours in charcoal, brick, and blue.

    What about the run from last year is that one a no go?

    Im for no zips (V NECK 4 me)
    No pockets thats what a camel back is for!
    No long sleeves but no arms is my cup of tea if I'm too hot I rip some holes in an old top those munter hot days!

    Loose fit not skin suit tight would also be prefferable

    Anyways good luck I know this was a mission last time, but I'm in, not sure what to do with all me old E tops maybe post em up on the E board to the highest bidder!

    Nope. None needed. Same applies to grinning skeletons, tree frogs, cow skulls and the like.

    I don't see any reason you couldn't continue wearing your E jerseys on your new ride though if you like them so much. It's not like the bike knows what you're wearing and would be more likely to throw you off. Or would it?

    Rumor has it that Turner will offer jerseys in two colors - blue and charcoal gray (two tone I believe) and will be the loose fitting style. Should be available sometime in June.
