Paging DT or Greg at TB

Has anyone seen this on their new RFX? Either my powdercoat is cracking or the clear coat on top of it?

I have had mine since last October - just pulled it out into the sunshine today and voila! Both sides of the seat tube and the downtube.

I will be calling Turner on Monday...........

Steve, that sucks. I don't think mine looks like that. I get it out in the sun and look.

    You down here yet?

Possibly shoes/pants where they rub when you pedal? If that was the case there'd be no way to keep a glossy finish no matter how "good" it initially was, a few million pedal cycles will do that if you're rubbing at all.

That may be a result of paint curing gone wrong. I have seen it before though not on a bike but on a car.

    Hucking Kitty strikes again?

Unless Hucking Kitty is in my neighborhood, I think not.

It is indeed a yeti lawill, says so on the downtube.

A buddy of mine "Stevo5" had this same thing happen to his gay red 04 5 spot. Turner gave him a new paint job. Let him have color of his choice. Went from gay red to a killer charcoal finish. looks sweet!

I have an older Cove Stiffee with the silver finish - I called them up and asked...I was told that it is a flaw with the clearcoat on certain finishes in their lineup and doesn't denote any structural integrity of the frame or welds (as it happened more in high-stress areas).
I am pretty sure Turner will say the same, given that it looks almost identical.
