    OT: Stone Imperial Russian Stout

For you lovers of thick brew, if you haven't tried this one yet, get yourself to a liquor store before they run out. It's not easy to find limited releases of the chewy brews this time of year. 10.8% alcohol, yummy taste!

Stupid NH and their limited beer selection. Looks like a road trip south is in order.

I haven't tried that one but I have tried a few other Imperial Stouts since they "popped the cap" here in NC last year. I've had the Rouge Imperial Stout and thought it was a bit too much. (The Rouge IP2A is fantastic though. In fact, that's my next brew I'm getting ready to do.) The Old Rasputn Russian Imperial Stout from North Coast Brewery is a mighty tastey beverage.

I have problems finding even Guinness here... so I don't think I would find it around here...

Man, I'm freaking salivating. Thanks for the tip, Renny.

That looks like a good one. I am hooked on Imperial Stouts after trying our local brewery's Black Cauldron Imperial Stout. It is made by Grand Teton Brewing in Victor, ID. I would imagine that distribution is very limited but if you are in the Jackson/Teton Valley area it is worth a try.

It's so DAMN good! - drink it whenever it's out - although there are times when I feel the alcohol is a bit too forward....

only suggestion is that you get a designated driver before you crack a bottle of this, it will flatten you!
