    long long time ago

The first RFX was shown at the Show, fall of 1997 as a 1998 model. By 2000 it was offered with the 6" rockers from the then discontinued Afterburner, but the first 2 years looked like that. It was 5.1" of travel and a few years later became the inspiration and 'mother' to the 5 Spot.

4x was pretty new with new tracks being built all over the uk when i got this frame.
bike was a lot of fun to jump and rail all day.

i'm waiting for my 5spot, hopefully it will be as much fun to ride.(maybe a little slower)

A riding friend of mine has been rocking that same frame since he got it back in 98. It just gave up the ghost this past weekend. Not can't believe he rode it for that many years. Such a great bike. Time for new Turner for him.
