Not sure I follow....you saying you cant use 26" wheels with 142 rear axle? I am guessing your hubs aren't convertible to 142mm? I sure hope not or my new 5-Spot is going to be tough to ride

Buzz - I'm keen to know how it runs with 26er wheels as this is likely the upgrade path I would consider if buying a Burner.
Sounds fun

new to me.
DW
tapered steerer
tires with dried up white stuff in them
big wheels, oops there's no wheels in the box
26" wheels in the Burner test ride this weekend
You got tires and no wheels?
Ready for that parts swap on the HL axle.

I don't even know if my hubs are convertible, and I'm excited to try the 27.5. I would give the 26er's a try but.... convert rear hub to 142, new fork is 15mm axle, my wheels are all 20mm, my 26er fork is straight steerer too, so between headset and hubs I doubt I'll bother with that experiment.
Maybe a box of wheels will show up tomorrow.
WDF, another excuse to not ride xc, dh runs tomorrow if this thing isn't built up.

I have a 15mm front you could borrow.

Lots, even though no one really rode because it was rainy/wet. Paul got out the tape measure and took lots of measurements...
