    New lines! (Trail pics)

D-wang and I took advantage of the snowy day last Saturday, and put in some shovel time on the barrel trail. Here's some shots of LycraFR and I hittin the virgin lines this morning. It's spring break here, so the goal is to ride every day this week. The first two shots are of "the broad jump".

The next 3 shots are a new line we discovered while clearing some bushes for the roller you see above. Cactus Corn...these pics are for you!

LFR's expressions are priceless. The funny thing is that he nails everything he tries. Judging by his O-face, you'd think he was on the verge of stacking every time.

So the snow melted that fast, and you guys aren't wallowing in sticky clay? Cool.

Nice huh. The dirt here absorbs the water super fast. The ground was nice and tacky today. The bikes are as clean as when we started the ride. Crash the dog was supposed to have joined us this morning, but I guess he is like the old movie Porky's.....Soft Core!

    Old expression returns

I haven't used "the expression" in some time now. I guess the new trails has challenged my abilities. Man it was fun this morning! Props go to El C and the D wanger. The Barrrel trail never gets old for the hard core riders, and the new additions make it even better

Nice pics El C! What kind of job do you have where you get spring break off to ride every day? I gotta get me a job like that!

I work from home. I am a Head Hunter for the insurance industry. My clients are all located in the greater Los Angeles area. I work very few hours, and ride as much as possible. Most of the weekday pics I post are taken between the hours of 6:30am, and 9:00am, so that guys like Lycra FR can get to work on time.

    Nice shots El C.

I found some new lines today too

Why do you want all that nice snow to melt so quickly? Get out & enjoy it.

Nice shots! I enjoyed the snow while it was here, all of about 8 hours.

New bike on an old trail

Somewhat unrelated, but I didn't want to start a new thread. My Pack got acquainted with Gooseberry today. A fair amount of mud on the drive in, some snow and puddles on the trail, but overall a good time. Here's the obligitory viewpoint at the end of the trail shot.

I'm working tomorrow, but Thursday or Friday look promising.

LycraFR's expressions are hilarious. As always great shots. This time of year I really miss the dirt...

I just got back from two weeks of exploring Chamonix. I've got a few pics kicking around here. I might post some more later.
