    New fork for Burner

Currently building an XC version of the Burner. Since I have a nice set of XTR v-brakes that are unused, I'm looking for a fork with bosses that would be a nice match for the frame. Rear shock id a push'd RP3. Standard rockers. I weigh 170 lbs and ride XC only.

Base on the above info, what fork would you suggest, and who to buy from?

    Why not the best fork?

I've got a Fox Vanilla R with 'V' brake bosses. I set the length at 105mm and I think that it is a great match for the Burner. If you can't find another fork, I'll sell you mine for the cost of another Fox Vanilla, if the new fork can be set at 105mm.

I'm not sure what year fox stopped making the V brake bosses?

    Good Luck

see if ya can find a 100 mm marzocchi x-fly. ive run a '00 version on mine for, well, about 8 years and i dig it. bet ya can find 1 cheap enough and parts are still available so thats a plus. its got canti mounts and is disc tabs so future changes are easy.

another option would be a old fox rlc. ive used a '04 talus with great success on my burner and a flux. the fox is total butter but ebay folks still think they should sell for close to full retail.
    No, I'm NOT back!
