    National Zee-O-Graphic: Lost and Found

Welcome to the rarest of pictorials: The Elusive Great Norteast Singletrack Lizard.
This is the first in what I hope to be a series of trailstoke. Unless I get too busy, tired, bored or drunk to keep up with it.

In our first edition, we have captured the GNSL paroling his territory. Previously thought to be extinct, this reptile can occasionally be found searching for lines to shred.

Partial to a stone and minor elevations, it can frequently be found scaling rocky domes.

A good climb usually rewards with choice of entertaining lines down.

His habitat supplies a steady diet of fiber and minerals

    Obstacles = Entertainment

Note: once this log was twice as large, the years have made it a blip in the trail.

This area has a log-over every 50 yards.

    This creature loves the rock!

Apparently he is not alone in this love of the trail

If you should encounter a GNSL, wave and clear the line, as his brakes do not share his love of gravity.

It's probably best to just offer him a beer.

    Catch ya next time!

Very cool, didn't realize Jurassic Park had relocated to the NYC area (Yankees roster notwithstanding).

    HAHAHA! Exactly!

Oh, and you mobile users, slow your scroll... there are some animated gifs mixed in with the pix.

BTW, I'm not a fan of the site cutting the pic size down. Some of the shots seemed a nicer as the orig 800x600. Clicking through to a slideshow eliminates the narrative I put in the OP. Bah.

Not to worry Miles, we just took up a collection and bought A-Rod a bus ticket to Boston.

The GNSL also has a fondness for shiny gold bike bling. Nice pics Zilla!

Nooooooooooooo! You got him, you keep him! Send back Youk.

Keep the pics coming, much as I love the desert, this is a time of the year I miss the East Coast woods.

Good to see that SD700 is still capturing the Lizard in its native habitat. I've found you have to upload one's pics larger than you figure they're going to be shown here (I use 1024) from an external site. I use Photobucket. mtbr for some reason wants to de-rez everything to suboptimal size.
