    My Spot down south

The wife and I took a roadtrip down to Florida with our newborn daughter to spend time with grandma and grandpa. Of course my Spot came along for the trip .

Rode a park named Halpatiokee. which stands for alligator water so its best to stay out of any standing water which was easy to do because it was dry down there.

i didn't miss the snowy conditions in New York one bit.

When I was down there last year - I got pretty lost. Within the last year their club - airbornemtb.org has put up a lot of signage. not all trails were marked but definitely a step in the right direction.

    Florida singletrack

Not a rock in sight but these PAlmetto Roots create some techy sections.

    A view from the cockpit

    log over

ever found a skinny (alittle lower to the ground and thicker than I'm used to but a skinny none the less)

    combat against the wet times:

    more Fl tech

    some of that alligator water

    Lots of fast flowing singletrack

Then we brought the baby to the local park - one again - of course the Spot came along
The groms didn't know what to think  but turns out my bike and I are pretty "sick".

Of course I threw my move in just for good measure:

"airing out" over the jump box ....wish it had a lip!

    Manual back the other way

Then I showed these grind rails a thing or 2. I hear this move was "slick"

did it backdoor a few times also which had a harder on - finished once with a one hander just for fun

Unfortunately I'm back home in New York where it is a lot more WHITE.

Hmmm, I'm sure the trail signs were helpful but I'm still betting you heard "Hey pops R-U Lost?" at the skate park.

Nice job on the rails there Fatty. Show em who's boss.
Faster is better, even when it's not.

Cool pics. Quite defferent terrain from here in New Mexico. I would feel like gator bait in some of those areas!
