Chad can perhaps hook you up too. His local dawg does the powdercoating. Syncros does white wheelsets that are better than the outlaws too.

I am always working on it. If nothing else, my goal of ultimate homer poseur may be realized one day. the recipe for this build was quite simple really.....part had to be white, red, or black, and bonus points if heavier than needed. nothing else really mattered to be honest nor should it. some people use logic to build bikes....to each their own

    ...i like orange hair...really!

Interesting wheels...not bad! Are you sticking w/ white, red and black as you say, or are you gonna end up with a rodeo clown like....????

btw- I got the same wheels on order except in very boring anti-bling black & silver....

Those wheels would look awesome on my all white ElementSC.
I'm sure they'll look great on the RFX........that is you must make a concerted effort to keep them clean. Carry the bike over mud puddles and DON'T ride when the ground is damp and they will stay nice n' fresh.

Better yet, just keep it hung on your 'rec room" wall.

glad you remembered. but dont forget the X7 rear der. Granted, the only reason i got it is because the X9 does not come in all black, but still.....

my brakes were sort of budget since I decided not to get dangerboy levers so that makes a few budget parts. and the Hone cranks are budget by most standards.....i just dig the 2-ring hones and the reinforced pedals inserts and steel spindle are a plus.

hey zilla, no worries. if nothing else, i have learned to ignore anybody who doesnt agree with me i knew you would understand. these fools dont understand that it is really not our fault.....we were simply born to pimp.

and for the record, Chad has been PHENOMENAL. While the bike has taken a while, it was due to the fact that the fork i picked only became available about a week ago so we had to wait anyway.....i changed my wheelset order on chad AGAIN only last week, and i did not even close on the brake order till this Monday. Chad has the patience of a Saint.

oh yeah, aquaholic is still an ahole in case you didnt know.

    and check PM zilla

I'm very happy to see that "FO go the CHAD" is universal even though I still don't know what it means.

Dude, you seriously need some therapy
Hate to point out the obvious but you've now blown the budget by so much on your budget build that you could have just gotten the frame you really wanted in the first place, with a very nice build and still spent the same amount of money. LOL

ss has been on me for months and fo's no better. reports have been more than favorable and im countin on the SPaaNB sale to fund both the frame and the wheels. not sure if ill go enduro's or just hubs yet though. theres a cat i know whos gonna hook a bruthah up no matter what i decide, otherwise i couldnt pull it off even with my 2 jobs. 2/3 pay cuts suck ass. candycorn says im less stressed now but i think thats just exahstion showin through. its cool that folks will still help me out even though im no longer workin in the industry. it says alot for the people ive been lucky enough to meet over the years.

if candycorn rode dirt id be scewed too my friend. one day ill find her a turner and be able to afford it. i was just offered a trade for a small o2 but for now im bein selfish.

That's the twisted irony here. Though Faux could never admit the fact to himself, in his deepest reptilian brain (don't gotta dig deep to hit that bit with him) he needed the 6-Pack and the Homer Nation's approval more than oxygen. Any other bike would have just been a continuation of his denial. Turner is heavy meds.

Fo - you are a soft, greasy beer poop for going to the dark side. Further, you are the ever wanting bottom to the collective Homers' top.

PC called it...Terremoto. Irony is that this really DID have the opportunity to be a budget bike. i got promoted during the process of this build and went a "little" over.

so yeah, as it turns out, i could have gone with my first choice but hey, i am very happy and no regrets as both are killer bikes. Plus, the Ventana owners are very mature (not age) in comparison so i probably fit in better here
