    My bike, my poor bike

When I told Greg at Turner I was leaving for a pre paid trip to Vermont in one week he over nighted me a new main triangle RP3 and rockers. Turner has great CS, although I hope I never have to use it again.

    That looks gnarly.

Why a new front triangle and shock? Did they get munched when the rockers went?
My video techniques can be found in this thread.

Looks like the seatstay bridge is now part of the seat tube.

The "insurance" of the phenomenal customer service is something that makes the purchase that much easier to make.

Yes, there is a large dent in the seat tube. 3 of the 4 struts on the rockers going to the RP3 blew. I was worried this damaged the RP3 by causing an unbalanced load. Greg suspect the RP3 was probably ok but sent me a new one to be on the safe side.

Wow that's ugly. Glad to hear Turner took such great care of you.
JC's on the money, peace of mind has a value all it's own.
Faster is better, even when it's not.

It does, when I was looking for a bike, up until a few weeks ago, I looked all over, and at just about every XC bike made, it came down to two bikes, a turner and another brand, comming on here and hearing about all the great CS experinces was one of the larger deciding factors. Feeling that you made a investment, not just a purchase, is honestly how it feels when you hear about stuff like this. I rode mine for the first time yesterday, couldn't be happier.

New question here. So.... How'd it happen?

Any drama in the telling or was it just a random moment and that awful sound of metal doing the wrong thing....?

It's a surprisingly uneventful story. I was riding along and I went over a rock the size of a coffee cup. All I heard was SNAP! I had to walk out. The mosquitoes were terrible and feasting on me on my long walk out of the woods.

I wonder if the under damped RP3 has anything to do with it. The shock rebounds so fast and bucks the bike from time to time.
