    Metal Headtube Badges

    Found in this thread:
    Custom Headbadge or Jewelry

Perhaps if there is interest, a group deal could be worked out or you can just pick whatever effing design you want.

I would be down with this. I was just commenting yesterday to a buddy how my crappy Turner head badge is peeling off. I know it is just cosmetic but on a bike that shows so much attention to detail it seems like an oversight. Mine is not even a year old and it's starting to peel off.

I have no problems with my orginal head badge but I'd order one of these.

I've always wondered why Turner frames had such a lack-luster headtube badge. I mean, isn't the mark of a high end frame a nice, quality metal ht badge? It probably has something to do with Turner's mediocre logo. Making a high end badge with that logo would be like putting lipstick on a pig.

Adding some flames to the "T" would make for a purty swine.

...and here I always thought that the mark of a high end frame was superb function.

    Hey Dusty,
Since you are so into those quality metal head badges I went ahead and ordered one for you. It should be ready in a few weeks...

Haha! That badge is on a Santa Cruz but not Dusty's. A lady here in ATL had that made for her Blur or is it a Superlight.
    Nothing to see here.

I wouldn't mind a jerk_chicken badge for my bike, if it's not Turner, so I'm wondering what she would think of a Turner "club" inquiry for a bunch of custom badges and maybe some Turner ones thrown in there.

Those are pretty cool, but at $80, well, that's more than I would really want to spend. Don't get me wrong, I know I'm a complete snob & poseur (how else can I explain a Turner frame when I only ride a couple times a week - or maybe I just like USA made & kick butt CS), but till, that's a lot of jack to spend.

A Turner currently down with a broken Hope rear axle. Hope is coming through with a no questions asked replacement though.
