    What's with the tucked-in jersey?!
I stopped driving my bike into my garage - I'm now protected with Roof Rack Ranger app for my iPhone.

me? on a moto? that was then and this is now. my moto days have long past. i still have the vintage '97 full fox long pants kit if im so inclined but all the cool kids are wearin shorts these days.

a day of rain yesterday once again foiled my ride plans today and closed the trails. seems my timeing has pretty much sucked the last 2 months. rain on wed, day off on thurs. the weatherman hates me.

its cold here still so im avoidin a draft plus the jerseys a xl and hangs down to my ankles. you dont wanna see me in a night shirt now do ya? i didnt think so.

mba would never have a old hack like me. im just posin as usual and ill leave the real work to guys like ebx.

Yep, that's an XL. I didn't expect the added brace either, I thought it was on the Pack only. I am also a big fan of the hose guides on the TT. That looks pretty clean.

... and if we just ... Nice....

So you spend your day off, a beutiful day I might add, 50+ degrees, sunny, and don't even take a bike out around town. Dude, you really need shot !!!! I'm stuck inside fixin a PITA eliptical, and a Treadmill, fishing minnows out of the bait tank, and answering a pretty remarkable number of phone call!! Sheesh, did ya atleast watch "The Collective."

Oh yeah, nice shorts, but ya gotta untuck the jersey. Otherwise you'll still look like a throw back to the 90's racing scene.

And great looking frame Red. I really like the grey, and I'm jealous. I've got an XL Burner, but I only get one taco and I had to get one of those stick on cable guides for the middle of my top tube. Oh, now that I think about it, I had to get the bolt on cable guides for both ends of my top tube....now I'm really jealous.

He he, enjoy the new toys guys.

    happy trails...

Thanks squish. I came off an XL Burner and had the same bolt on guides and stick-on in the middle. This routs hose much nicer. Enjoy the Burner, it's a sweet ride!
Actually the frame is black. It looks like grey from the flash - I actually like the grey a little better...

I've been loving my Burner for about a year now and still smile the whole time I'm ridin it. Though there is a Pack on the drawing board right now. The money thing is kind of a pain in the butt, but I do have a slowly growing pile of parts.

And you know you've got a killer flash when it turns your black paint job grey!!

    happy trails...

Is it only me or is that a Horst-link 5-Spot? I wonder why, if built recently, it isn't TNT.

Yes, it is a HL 5 Spot. The HL came off my Burner. I can honestly say that I have no idea if TNT would have been better, worse, or what. I'm just happy there's a front triangle and rockers that it's bolted to!

as one thread highjacker to another, no worries pal. i dont mind. seems im a bit of a pack rat and keep a selection of old forks around for new projects. most of those boxes have goods in em. the beer is four peaks brewerys kiltlifter. its a 6% scottish amber ale out of tempe az. i bring back a case every time i visit. if my pals visit, they must bring me a case. its the law. very good stuff but ive never seen it out of az. its brewed in the old borden dairy building next to az state university. damn good food too. if ya ever find yerself out there its a must do. im workin on gettin a few cases up to the oct turner gathering.

Unfortunately I've spent a grand total of two days in AZ as an adult - and both involved going from the airport to a meeting to the airport. I allllllmost got a free day back in Feb and was going to post about riding. Instead I got in to Phoenix around 10PM (from ATL) and got up the next morning for a drive to Flagstaff then drove back to PHX. I had a lovely slice of pizza at the airport before my flight (sarcasm). The drive was really nice but I knew I was missing out on riding/food/beer. Oh well, I'll get out there again in 5 years or so.
Question for any Poenecians (SP?) out there - why are there no gas stations within a 10 mile radius of the airport. Fortunately it wasn't my Hertz bill, ouch!

Actually, that was the last pic, Jeff did a nose wheelie and came to a stop without the OTB. That is a tricky switchback, you have to clear the rocks and then stall on the rock slab which is about one bike length and then make the turn on the steep rock slab, it's pretty tight. Kristian, the rider pictured before made it.
