    New question here. Lucky-7 question

    Hi all
Say what's this Turner Lucky 7 that shows up on various sites reporting from Interbike 2003?!??
Anyone knows of details? Is it going to be released this year? ... or at all?

    Cheers, Kasper

Hey, that's my frame! Scratched top tube and all.

To answer your question... no, you'll never see it. It was supposed to be a more DH oriented RFX. It was supposed to be different from the RFX in that it would have a 1.5" headtube, 0.5" longer chainstays, and a slightly slacker seat tube... and 7" of travel.

That bike is simply an RFX with a 1.5" headtube. It was sold to me by Turner as a Route 66.

If you're looking for a more FR oriented rig, wait for the high line.

    I love my Rt.66 though.

There was a silver route 66 with a 1.5 sherman in the classifieds just beofre I bought the 5spot. I hesitated for a couple days and then it was gone. You have one sweet ride.

    ^^^^^^^
    Well I saw yours didn't I??

Sounds like a nice bike and very unique too apparently.
The reason why I started wondering was because I saw the website of the official dealer in Switzerland who claims that they will sell Lucky-7 "soon". Untill then I had thought of the interbike pictures as prototype-shots since there's been very little talk about it on the web..
    Here's the link to Switzerland:

    But anyways -thanks for clarifying
    Cheers -Kasper

THere were two 'Lucky 7s' built up for InterBike '02. Mine was the complete one pictured here. The other was the silver one displayed as frame only. 'PowderBoy' of FeedtheHabit.com picked up the silver one, rode it for a bit, and then sold it to someone in Florida if I remember correctly. Perhaps the new owner was getting rid of it.

Attached is a pic of mine from sometime last year. Notice the Turner applied sticker over the scratch.
