last year they were not, this year they are, road uci also.
Kabush was here last week for xterra, he did well, never saw him though, wish he could have gotten together for a homer sesh, but I never new he was coming until I saw the results.
I am definitely not an expert, and I didn't even stay in a Holday Inn Express last night, but disc brakes are still not UCI-legal. See the following quoted from http://www.velonews.com/tech/report/articles/9054.0.html: Unfortunately, that ban has not yet been lifted. UCI rules still state that disc brakes are not allowed in UCI-sanctioned cyclo-cross races [Article 1.3.025 of Part 1 General Organization of Cycling]
And the UCI notwithstanding, disc brakes are perfectly legal in your average local CX series. I see a fair number of people with discs in 'cross races here in Colorado.
