    Thanks for the tip.

Best live show I've ever seen was Jane's at the Hammerstein Ballroom in NYC...on Halloween. It was hedonistic.

Eric Avery wasn't touring with the band so we had to settle for Flea.
    Man, what. a. show.

Then you didn't see Janes Addiction at their best. They are a different band with Mr. Avery on bass. For proof search YouTube for live shows from 2009 and compare to live shows pre-2009.

Of course nothing beats NIN live. That proof is also on YouTube...

Hard to prove something as subjective as music. I did see Eric play with the band at the first Lollapalooza in 1991. Not to diminish his talent or contribution to the band, the Ballroom show was simply better in my opinion (see how that works). Chalk it up to location, the night, the vibe, the women dressed in nothing but saran wrap.etc.

It's a shame I would have to install iTunes in my computer to listen to it. Oh well, I can wait until the 18th to buy the album.

Absolutely! The best show is the one we attend. Half of the show is the crowd around you which of course does not show up on YouTube maybe more than half since the music is almost always good.

1991 Lollapalooza Jane's addiction was probably their worst effort as they knew they were going to break up after the tour. In fact Dave stormed off the stage here in Phoenix during one sang cause he was pissed at Perry.

I was kidding with my proof comment. Music is about as subjective as mountain bike choice.
