I've had a Hope headset on my Sultan since May '07, no problems with it here.

I'm using the Hope BB - no problems spinning, though it was a biatch to install my FSA K-Force light cranks into; That's probably more of a reflection on the cranks though.

How would the blue look with a pink frame?

I'm back on an XTR bottom bracket but i had a hope before that and after 10 months riding it was still good as new which is a rarity for external type in my past experience.

I bought a used Hope headset off Fo cause my King was a creakin, it's worked great so far and eliminated the creak, it also matches my blue front tri perfectly

Paired w/ the 29in wheels it would look like El Blingon's HL in negative.

You really should be looking at the brown CK, brown is the new pink which was the new black which was the new rootbeer which was the new black....

I have the headset. Installing the Head Dr thingie was a little fiddly otherwise it works. Seems nice and smooth and doesn't creak like my King did. I'm tempted by the Hope BB...but I'm not sure that it is that much better than the enduro bearings I'm already running.

    Hope BB's good

I have had a Hope BB on my Spot's for over a year, riding every week in all weathers. It has performed perfectly and has easily out lasted either of the Raceface BB's I had before.

Having said that I have a CK on order for when the Hope eventually dies.

Hope BB and headset no problems, better than the Shimano / RF / Cane Creek units they replaced. I also like the stem and hubs. Only thing I'm not mad keen on are the brakes.

I don''t know what the CS is like for you guys over the Atlantic, but here in the UK Hope have an almost Turner-esque reputation.

I guess I'll give them a try. Thanks for all the feedback.
