Here's an interesting 'Zoke thread from the Shock forum

A Marzocchi rep asking what do the customers want in future forks.

    Marzocchi ETA....what do you think?

Yep, I'm all up all over in it. I wish Zoke had a real fork for the 5 spot. The z1 FR is smooth but too dang heavy and the coil doesnt quite match the air shock. They are getting killed by Rock Shox the past couple of years. Seems every spot in here is sporting a Pike.

I heard a rumour Mazocchi sent production to Taiwan. Can anyone confirm?

Here is what I have asked for in the thread ; )

I would simply like my new, 2008, top of the line 55 ATA with all the bells & whistles to:

Not be sticky, even after 100 miles of breaking in
Not have a clunking noise & feel at the top of the stroke, or when topped out
Not wind down by itself on tech descents
Have it's own user friendly tech manual, not lumped together with 10 different forks that have nothing to do with mine.

So, basically, I want my NEW 55 ATA to feel like my 1 1/2 year old, completely abused & ridden hard, 2007 Fox 36 RC2, which I am now VERY bummed I sold to buy this fork

    For the

    Spot
55 with Uturn and the rest of the 454 air features with Zokes buttery feel of a 66 rc2x

    RFX
Simple a 160mm RC2X or RC3 what ever they call it now with 38mm staunchions and weight 2300grms like a Van rc2

Simple comon Marz otherwise I will be Marzless in future! its all RS at mo in the stable and the Lyrik Uturn coil is looking good for the RFX one day too not that I care for travel adjust just another crutch...

Guess you didnt read the post. I added my 2 bits to that thread and several others.

I'm a lifer with marzocchi but their new line of products is terrible. I dont understand why they dumped HSVC for TST. Stable platform was pretty much a fad and now its almost extinct, yet they are still pumping out TST crap. Look at manitou, its a miracle they are still in business. 5th element. Curnutt....fading fast.

My 5 spot needs a stiff air fork, I guess a pike is my only choice. Allthough paying that much money for a chinese made fork ticks me off. Maybe I can find a float 36 on ebay. A new fox fork costs as much as a used car now.
