    Galfer Pads and compounds...

    Hi all!!

If it weren't for this forum I wouldn't had known that Galfer is offering two compounds on their pads.

I have some Magura Julies (don't laugh you guys!) and are getting to the end of pad life. I'm actually running Koolstops F / Maggie Performance R.

Our riding goes from dry to wet and I don't plan on changing pads for both seasons. I rather have a better performance than better life as I don't go thru pads that soon being very light (150'sh fully soaked).

    Any help is appreciated.

I know, I know, Galfers might get you into trouble with Jimmy@magura but I wouldn't care if I can have a better braking out of my pads.

And yes, I know, I know... this is not the right forum but it seems that most of Galfer users are here.

    Thanks!

Mountain High Cyclery (Aka Larry's shop).

Another option is cyclebrakes.com (they wanted to charge me like 30 bucks for shipping to mexico ) and Thor Usa but he has only reds judging by his site.

Your LBS should be able to get them for you in no time. Chris at Roaringmouse got me my sets for the Juicy. They really helped too.

It's really not rocket science. Galfer pads are sold by one of the big distributors. All the LBS has to do is look up the reference and order it. Anyway, Chris is a great guy and he's not that far from where you live.

Any word on the original topic??? Squeak, Tscheezy, 'Zilla, Darren, Larry????

You comments on Galfers-Maguras will be even more appreciated.

Mr. Tigerdog (New Homer, btw, congrats dude) got me pads for one wheel but I still have one wheel waiting for pads... so, any info is appreciated.

My apologies for the shameless bump.
