    frame arrived today... help needed on revitalizing her

    well the flux arrived today and im pretty chuffed considering i got her for 300

    she's in raw and in need of a wee bit of TCL to bring her back to her former glory. Anyone got any handy hints and tips on how to do this?

    Autosol (here in the UK) ???

    i'll post pics when she is more acceptable

    Autosol is good for the final polish if its the chrome look you are after. If you just want to even up the raw finish then a light scrub with a Scotch Brite pad would probably good enough, I would suggest you start with the super fine grey pad and try it on an a test area that can't normaly be seen, to see if its what you want. Just don't be in too big of a rush to go to the more agressive pads especialy if you think you may want to go the full polish as you can put scratches in that are hard to polish out later. (I know cos I just polished my new burner which was just too raw)
