Forgive me Homers – I have sinned (pics)

I hit some sweet jumps and drops that had a transition back-side!! I know that is such a non-poseur thing to do but I just couldn’t help myself. I will repent my sins but doing 10 6’ (CC units of course) to flat.

I wish something like that existed when I was at GA tech.

I know where Cumming is. I used to live in Gwinnett County.

Looks fun. I'll have to check it out next time I'm in Atlanta. What's the name of the park?

Hey SS those are great pics. You can use those to learn a lot about your riding. Did you get the brian lopes book? His book has a ton of still shots of jumping and body position that may help you progess really fast. Congrats on hitting some good jumps. Where's the full face though? We wouldn't want to see ya all busted.

Cool pics SS, I especially like the 20' (cc units) gap. Cool riding area too, that must be a great way to boost your skillz... but what's with all that green stuff on the ground and in the trees???

I wasn't planning on going to the park until a read a post on my local MTB forum that it was OPEN. I called AA and he was already there! We both actually have the Lopes book and were trying some of his suggestions out on the smaller jumps. It has been a long time since I had done anything like this so I was feeling a little green. There is a big gap jump over the creek/drainage that I need to hit next time.

Green plant life = 10"+ of rain lately and a full week of sun and temps over 65. Trees are green because they are pines.

SSINGA nice pics man... pretty sweet that something like that is built and open to the public. A place where kids (and grownups) can go and shred in the afternoon, after work, or after school.

Kinda reminds me of my skateboarding days in the early 90's when the only vert ramp to be had then was one hour away. Now that I don't skate anymore, parks are popping up everywhere. It's a bummer that there aren't too many legal dirt jump parks or 4X type courses to get new blood into this sport and keep kids off the street.

    Excellent.

So, are you a better photographer than AA, or are you that much faster?

Easy, his camera not mine!! LOL!!! His camera doesn't like Orange, it changes the shutter speed. JK!! Really great place to work on skills. They are working on progressing to bigger things, they had to start smaller. The gap jump, not in the picture, is a thinker though. I've hit it on my old demo 9, but not on the 6.6 yet. I didn't have flats with me, just clips, and I don't like being clipped in riding that kind of stuff. Anywhoo, pics are great.
